TEMWA

The Temwa mission is to create hope for the future among the people of Malawi by:

• Providing an infrastructure to support Malawian families facing financial and humanitarian hardship, irrespective of religious orientation.
• Creating partnerships and programs to equip the local population of Usisya with the skills and resources to ensure ongoing health, education, and financial stability for families and the wider community.

TEMWA was started by two Bristol University students in 2000 and now has many more volunteers.

ShelterBox

The ShelterBox Trust is a UK charity that provides emergency aid for victims of natural and other disasters anywhere in the world.

Since operations began in January 2001, they have helped an estimated 500,000 people and worked in more than 40 countries - responding to earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis, wars and volcanoes.

NACOA

The National Association for the Children of Alcoholics' mission is to advocate for all children and families affected by alcoholism and other drug dependencies. It:

• works to raise public awareness.
• provides leadership in public policy at the national, state, and local levels.
• advocates for appropriate, effective and accessible education and prevention services.
• facilitates and advances professional knowledge and understanding.
